Getting down to the water shouldn't feel like a hike. Natural stone steps give you safe, solid footing on steep or eroding shorelines — and they turn the walk to the dock into one of the best parts of lake living.
We build steps from thick, flat-faced natural stone, each slab set into a compacted base and locked to the boulder wall around it so nothing shifts underfoot. Generous tread depth and consistent rise make them comfortable for kids, guests, and anyone carrying a cooler down to the dock on the Fourth of July.
On the shorelines around East Bethel, Coon Lake, and Lake George, we integrate steps directly into shoreline and retaining walls so the whole structure works together against erosion. The stone weathers naturally, grips even when wet, and looks like it was carved into the bank rather than added later.
